Bookworm Tax Services & More was established in 2004 and just opened an office in New Braunfels, TX in January 2014. Our mission is to provide efficient, expert solutions to individuals and businesses. Our primary services include taxation, and business consulting and bookkeeping services. With years of experience on our side, our primary goal is helping you and your business succeed.
We offer personalized services and regular contact with our clients as tools for a successful and long term relationship. We also offer the benefits of years of experience, and also keep updated on current issues through yearly continuing education. Bookkeeping
Invoices and statements, accounts payable, cash receipts and disbursements, payroll, bank reconciliations and recurring reports. Your bookkeeper will be in contact with you by Instant Messenger, email, or phone with any questions or concerns.
Consultation
We’ll include up to 30 minutes of consultation time to ensure you fully understand how to interpret and utilize the financial information we provide and to answer your business-related questions.

All small businesses need an accurate records system, your system is a necessity to report to federal and state agencies. Our services can be customized to your needs; i.e. payroll, tax preparation or any of our other services that we offer.

Office Manager
Melisa Barth is an enrolled agent practicing in New Braunfels, TX with e-filing capability. She has over 17 years of experience of taxation and bookkeeping and financial consulting. She started this company over 10 years ago, just doing small clients and now has a staff to serve a wide range of individuals, small corporations, and partnerships and are experts in the tax issues and laws that impact our clients. She received her Enrolled Agent license in 2011 and is currently continuing her education at Texas State University to obtain her Master’s degree. She also maintains her education by attending seminars to maintain her professional skills.
Jessica D. Downey is an assistant with 7 years of experience. She has experience with companies such as Clear Chanel, The Scooter Store and Energy Transfer in the accounts payable and receivable departments. She has completed several courses and is currently persuing her degree.
